Description
Numerous black and white photos and map illustrations. The Japanese attack on Darwin in 1942 in which 188 Japanese fighter and bombers in which nine ships were sunk, nearly all of the Kittyhawks defending the city were destroyed and 252 people weer killed. A second wave of bombers an hour later devastated the airfields.
