The foreword in this magazine-size WWI brochure indicates that the war was still in progress at the time the brochure was published. The majority of the text is in the foreword, the balance being used to describe the activities depicted in the 45 black and white photos inside the brochure, which describe the activities of the various branches of the British Army Labour Battalions during World War I.
