Biography of E E J Kjellberg (1879-1968), a Swede who after arriving in Australia in 1900, set up a clinic on the Atherton Tablelands in Queensland for the practice of manipulative therapy treatment, using skills learned in his homeland. Also charts the development of manual medicine through history, from Egypt, Greece, Europe, Sweden to Australia. Foreword by former Kjellberg patient, Dr Chris Gilbert. Includes photos throughout, bibliography and appendices. Author was a pupil of Kjellberg and is President of the Kjellberg Chiropractic Manipulative Therapists' Association.
