Note that the date of 1980 is circa 1980 as the publication has no date – research suggests 1980 as the approximate date. The book is unpaginated. A comprehensive history of theatre in Castlemaine, Victoria and of Lola Montez. From 1 April 1856 Lola successfully toured Bendigo, Castlemaine and other Victorian towns, then sailed with Folland for San Francisco. Near Fiji on the night of 8 July he was lost overboard: no official investigation seems to have followed.
