This volume reports on the scientific results of the 1948 expedition to the Arnhem Land Aboriginal Reserve and is devoted to the botany of the area. Extensive collections of all forms of plant life were made at each of the localities visited by the expedition including Groote Eylandt, Bickerton Island, Yirrakalla and Melville Bay.
