Description
Bede Griffiths, perhaps the best known modern religious interpreter of the East to the Wes, died in 1993. To clarify in his mind, what he understood as spiritual practice, the author took on the life of a sannyasi in India. Sannyasi implies one who has renounced all worldly attachments – particularly the material ones. Simplicity allows clarity of thought and practice.
