Small stain n half-title page which goes through the page. Two sections of black and white photos and illustrations. A deeply moving and revelatory book about the young girls of New England who never made the society pages. They were the downstairs girls who worked in the textile mills of the upstairs wealthy many years ago.
Note: Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Very faint foxing on inside card covers.. Edges very slightly spotted or marked. Corner of card covers are bumped and soft crease on front cover.
