Description
Numerous colour illustrations, some map illustrations and colour photos. A most unusual story. In 1891 James Tanner and Mrs Mary Esdaile eloped from New Zealand to Australia and changed their name to Trevor. He was aged 24 and she was 40 with a husband and children. They spent the next decade roaming around NSW and they undertook a hazardous 1800 mile river journey from Bourke to Albury.
