Mid-section of black and white photos. An interesting work on Antarctic including much on the bird life and, given it was the 1950s, accounts of sealing and whaling.

Note: Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. Endpapers foxed and some, but very little, faint foxing in text. Dust Jacket worn at edges, small chips and tears and foxing on the interior of the dust jacket. Dust Jacket un-clipped. Edges foxed. Boards have some shelf wear.
