Some black and white photos. The SAS (Special Air Service) was the brainchild of a Scots Guard Officer, Lieutenant David Stirling and this book traces the SAS from its creation to the battles it fought in the Middle East, Sicily, Italy and North-west Europe, until it was disbanded in 1945
